Odisha Block Coordinator Salary 2026

The selected candidate for the Block Coordinator post will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000 per month. The post is purely contractual, and regular government employee benefits such as DA, HRA and Medical Allowance will not be applicable. However, Travelling Allowance/Daily Allowance (TA/DA) for official tours may be provided as per the approved project norms.  

Odisha Block Coordinator Job Responsibilities 2026 

The Block Coordinator will lead the Block Facilitation Team and support the implementation of project activities in the project villages. 

The major responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Block Facilitation Team. 
  • Facilitating implementation of project activities in project villages. 
  • Directly engaging with local communities for project implementation. 
  • Providing secretarial assistance to the Gram Panchayat Support Unit. 
  • Facilitating interaction between the District Project Implementation Team and local stakeholders. 
  • Coordinating with relevant Government officials at the block level. 
  • Liaising with Gram Panchayats in the project area. 
  • Supporting training of farmers and community members. 
  • Acting as a Master Trainer for sustainable farming systems and integrated landscape management practices. 
  • Monitoring project activities through the project MIS. 
  • Preparing project documentation and reports. 
  • Supporting the preparation of case studies. 
  • Travelling extensively within the project areas as required. 


Odisha Block Coordinator Selection Process 2026 

The selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview. However, candidates will first undergo eligibility and document screening before being allowed to appear before the interview panel. 

The selection process will include three stages: 

Stage 1: Initial Scrutiny 

The candidate's age, educational qualification and relevant experience will be checked against the Minimum Eligibility Criteria. Only candidates fulfilling the required criteria will proceed to the next stage.
